Repairs for buildings that stay open
Most of what goes wrong in a building does not need a specialist. It needs somebody competent who turns up when they said they would, does the job properly and writes down what they did.
What we fix
- Joinery and carpentry
- Doors, shutters and windows
- Roofing and guttering
- Flooring and tiling
- Plumbing and drainage
- Plastering and decorating
- Shopfitting and retail premises
- Fire and water damage repairs
- General building fabric
One contractor covers all of it, so a leak that has brought a ceiling down is one visit and one invoice rather than three firms and a week of phone calls.
“Highly recommended, great customer service, polite, professional and punctual”
“They were punctual and hard working. Got on with the job. Reliable + thorough.”
“Did a good job and left the area clean and tidy.”
We do both
Planned work is agreed with you in advance and done in normal working hours. It is how the bigger jobs get done before something fails, rather than after.
Reactive work is for the day something fails anyway. An emergency gets someone the same day. Anything your residents, customers or staff can see gets fixed within 48 hours. Everything else is booked in at a time that suits the building.
Doing both means you are not looking for a second contractor at the worst possible moment.
“Well organised whole project ran smoothly. Work finished to a high standard, good time keeping.”
“Very good workmanship, polite and professional. Cleaned and tidied up. Arrived on time very pleased with result.”
No quoting visit for small jobs
If a job is small, we fix it while we are there and invoice the hours and materials. You do not pay for a visit to look at it and then wait for a second visit to do it. Anything bigger, we quote first and you decide.
“Communication throughout the work carried out was excellent allowing for small changes to plans and finishes with no extra charge.”
“Clean tidy, on time, reasonable price.”
Gas, electrical certification and asbestos removal
We are not registered for gas work or electrical certification, and we do not remove asbestos. We will tell you on the first visit rather than the day before you need something signed off, and we will tell you who we would ring instead.
On asbestos, the one thing we do is check that the warning signs on known asbestos are present and legible, photograph them, and replace any that are missing. We never assess or disturb the material itself.
