Every job dated and photographed
The repair is only half of what you are paying for. The other half is knowing it was done, when, and what was found, without having to walk the building to check.
Something you can open later
Every job, including the five minute ones, is written up with the date, what the fault was, what we did about it and a photograph. A photograph on its own shows that something happened. The note says what, and the date says when.
Together they are what you show a contract monitoring visit, an inspector or an insurer when they ask whether a problem was dealt with. You can say you took reasonable steps and point to the record.
“The team were friendly, prompt and efficient. I was constantly informed of the works progress and the installation has been completed excellently”
“The works were well managed and workers were friendly but professional. … Always kept us informed of the progress, and they checked with us, and building control, first if minor changes as a result of unforeseen site conditions were needed.”
Agreed before you need it
We agree with you up front what counts as an emergency, what is urgent and what can wait. An emergency gets someone the same day. Anything people in the building can see is fixed within 48 hours. Routine work is booked in.
Settling that in advance means nobody argues about it at eight in the morning with water coming through a ceiling.
“Arrived at discussed time, completed work in really good time, friendly service.”
“Scaffold arrived when stated, pleased with standard of work.”
Working around the people inside
Most of the buildings we look after stay open while we work. In supported housing, tenants stay at home. In a shop, the doors stay open. So the work is risk assessed, kept as quiet and tidy as we can make it, and timed around the building rather than around our diary.
Every member of our staff is enhanced DBS checked.
“They arrived when they said they would, did what they said they would and did it quickly, quietly and to a very high standard. They were respectful of the fact that we had to continue operating our business in the same building.”
“During a difficult working environment the trades people were very safe workers and completed the work to a very high standard.”
“…arrived on time very courteous. Looked after all safety issue for me. Job well done.”
One number that goes straight through
When you ring 07749 474861 you get Wayne Cator, our Managing Director, not a call centre and not someone who has to go away and ask. We are a small team working from one base in Newton Aycliffe, so the people who come to your building tend to be the same people next time.
“They are also very nice people and good communicators; we would thoroughly recommend them for any property services.”
“Punctual, efficient, polite, excellent standard of work and finish. Consulted with customer as appropriate. Definitely recommended.”
